Iron Curtain Studios is an up and coming freelance photography and art studio in the mid Missouri area. Over the course of the last several years I have developed a surreal style of images which I have begun to share with the world. Above all I wish for my images to be analyzed and debated. These moments that I capture within the frame of my lens are bits and pieces of the world I see. A world that to me is both beautiful, eerie and often overlooked yet holds a sublime beauty. I am enamored with things that are strange, dark, unusual and melancholic. I believe that each of my photographs has its own story or emotion that it either tells or evokes. The vast majority of my images are planed out in advance and I hope that they reflect the overall concepts I imagined. However, I do spend a good amount of time venturing out to stumble across and photograph the strangely beautiful scenes I find. Although the works I present are of a certain style currently, I am always open to stepping outside my comfort zone to explore new projects and styles in an effort to grow as an artist.
